Fairly strong winds (upto 50 kmph) can be expected at times over Northern half of the island today (26th April).
Mainly fair weather will prevail over most provinces of the island.
However, showers or thunder showers may occur at few places in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central and Southern provinces after 2.00p.m.
A few showers can be expected in the coastal areas extending from Colombo to Matara via Galle during the morning too.
