    India provides a grant of Rs 300 million Featured

    The cabinet of ministers has approved the signing of an agreement between Sri Lanka and India on a proposal made by Mahinda Amaraweera Minister of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Development.

    Indian government has agreed to provide a grant of Rs 300 million for livelihood development including fisheries in the Hambantota district. Part of the grant is expected to be used for developing fisheries villages under the Wewak Samaga Gamak.
