Divineguma community bank branches will be renovated according to the instructions of the Minister of Social Welfare and Empowerment S.B.Dissanayake.
Minister Dissanayake addressing a progress review meeting at the ministry premises has given instructions to the Director General of the Department of Divineguma Mrs. Chandra Wickremesinghe to do the necessary renovations.
Currently, 1074 Divineguma branches and 331 bank associations are available island-wide and 200 selected branches out of them will be renovated during next two months.
The Government official news portal is maintains by the New Media Unit of the Department of Government Information and it was titled "news.lk" and commenced in mid1996 and release to Internet from March 01st, 1997.
