According to the Met. Department, showers or thundershowers may occur at few places in Northern and Eastern provinces after 04.00 p.m.

A few showers are expected in the Western and Southern coastal area in the morning too.

Fairly heavy falls (above 50mm) are also likely at some places.

Temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers are expected and the public is requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning.
