Chief of Defence Staff, Air Chief Marshal Kolitha Gunatilleke visited India on 03rd April or a five day visit on the invitation of Air Chief Marshal Arup Raha, the Chairman Chiefs of Staff Committee & Chief of the Air Staff.
During the visit, the Chief of Defence Staff called on Defence Minister of India Shri Manohar Parrikar, National Security Advisor Shri Ajith Doval, Chairman Chiefs of Staff Committee & Chief of the Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal Arup Raha, and Chief of the Naval Staff, Admiral Robin K Dhowan.
The visit afforded an opportunity to exchange views on the latest developments in the related fields, to deepen bilateral ties and focus on security cooperation and defence issues between two countries.
