Nine-member Australian delegation headed by the Australian High Commissioner in Sri Lanka Bryce Hutchesson, called on the Sri Lanka Navy Commander Vice Admiral Ravindra Wijegunarathna on Tuesday (5th April) at Naval Headquarters in Colombo.
The delegation comprised with the Ambassador for People Smuggling Issues for Australia Andrew Goledzinowski AM and Commander of Operation Sovereign Borders Major General Andrew Bottrell.
During the discussions, the efforts taken by the Sri Lanka Navy to combat against the human smuggling activities were commended by the delegation.
Mementos were also exchanged to mark this event.
