Construction, Engineering Services, Housing and Common Amenities Minister Wimal Weerawansa is scheduled to commission the Gurunagar Condominium Project in Jaffna, reconstructed at a cost of Rs 100 million on Sunday (15).
A press release issued by the Ministry said that the housing scheme had been renovated under the Janasevana programme. There Gurunagar Condominium Project was originally opened in 1985 and comprised 160 apartments. The housing scheme later been destroyed by the LTTE during the times of war.
The work on this housing complex project is being carried out by the State Engineering Corporation, the release added.
