The delegation comprised thirty eight members of the prestigious National Defence University (NDU) of People's Republic of China. They arrived in Sri Lanka on a two day overseas study and an excursion tour on 15th November.

Visiting delegation was accompanied by the Senior Colonel Li Chenglin, Military, Naval and Air Attach‚ of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Sri Lanka.

The tri-forces deployment and the prevailing security situation in the country were briefed during the session. Mementoes were also exchanged to mark the occasion.
