Turkish business union, Turkish Confederation of Businessmen and Industrialists (TUSKON) opened its affiliate Turkey Ceylon Business Chamber (TCBC), in Colombo last week in order to boost trade between Turkey and Sri Lanka.

The opening was held under the patronage of the Minister of Industry and Commerce Rishad Bathiudeen. The minister of international trade Sujeewa Senasingha, along with businessmen from Turkey, France, Australia and Sri Lanka attended the event.
