The Indonesian Navy Sailing Ship KRI BIMA SUCI – 945 departed the island yesterday (18 ), marking the successful completion of her official goodwill visit. The ship was accorded a formal farewell by the Sri Lanka Navy in accordance with naval traditions at the Port of Colombo.
A special traffic plan will be implemented in Colombo and its surrounding areas on April 19 and 20 due to the official visit of Indian Vice President C. P. Radhakrishnan, police said.
The first crude oil shipment to arrive in Sri Lanka following the outbreak of tensions in the Middle East reached the Colombo Port today (17), the Ministry of Ports and Civil Aviation said.
