The Government of Sri Lanka has expressed deep concern over the recent attack on civilian infrastructure at Kuwait International Airport, which resulted in injuries to three Sri Lankan nationals.
In a statement, the Government emphasized that the safety, well-being, and security of more than one million Sri Lankan citizens living and working across the region remain a top priority.
Sri Lanka called upon all parties involved to exercise maximum restraint and avoid further escalation of tensions that could endanger civilian lives and regional stability.
Reaffirming its commitment to peace and security, Sri Lanka stated that it will continue to support international efforts aimed at maintaining regional stability, protecting civilians, and promoting dialogue and peaceful resolutions to conflicts.
