Sri Lanka is looking to utilize Belarusian technology and expertise to further strengthen its ongoing transport modernization programme.
This was discussed during a meeting between Transport Minister Bimal Rathnayake and Belarusian Transport Minister Alexei Lyakhnovich.
Special attention was also given to the possibility of signing an air services agreement between the two countries, which is expected to enhance connectivity between Sri Lanka and Belarus.
The discussion further focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation in the transport sector and improving the exchange of technology.
Attention was also drawn to the possibility of providing training opportunities for Sri Lankan professionals at the Belarusian State Transport University.
