The Minister of Energy, Eng. Kumara Jayakody, has appointed Dr. Thushara Ratnayake as the new Chairperson of the Sri Lanka Atomic Energy Authority.
She holds a PhD from the University of Tokyo, Japan and is the only Sri Lankan to hold a PhD in Nuclear Engineering.
She is currently a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Electrical Engineering at the University of Moratuwa.
