In support of the government’s programme to provide relief to those affected by the adverse weather conditions, Mr. Kumara Ekanayake, Managing Director of Avon Pharmo Chem (Pvt) Ltd. together with Mr. Hemanta Punchihewa, an Australian immigration law consultant, donated Rs. 2 million to aid relief efforts.
The relevant cheques were officially handed over by the donors to the Secretary to the President, Dr. Nandika Sanath Kumanayake, at the Presidential Secretariat this afternoon (02).
