The Government’s ‘Rebuilding Sri Lanka’ Fund, established to provide relief to those affected by the recent Ditwah cyclone, continues to receive generous contributions from local and international business institutions, organizations and individuals.
In this context, the Regional Development Bank has made a financial contribution of Rs. 25 million to the Fund.
The relevant cheque was formally handed over by Mr. Lasantha Fernando, Chairman of the Regional Development Bank, to Secretary to the President, Dr. Nandika Sanath Kumanayake, at the Presidential Secretariat yesterday (19).
Dr. Asantha Tennakoon, General Manager and Chief Executive Officer of the Regional Development Bank, was also present at the occasion.
