National Integrity Week began today (27) under the theme "A Culture of Integrity – A Clean Sri Lanka" and will continue until 31 July across the island.
Organised jointly by the Presidential Secretariat and the Clean Sri Lanka Programme, the initiative aims to promote integrity, transparency, efficiency, and accountability in the public service while fostering a corruption-free administrative culture.
The programme commenced with the National Integrity Pledge and the launch of a Code of Ethics at the Presidential Secretariat and all government institutions.
Each day of the week is dedicated to a different theme, including institutional, financial, digital, cultural, operational, and environmental integrity. The Presidential Secretariat said the programme will continue in all public and semi-government institutions until 31 December.
