A Singapore-registered company, which is a supplier to the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation, has made a financial donation of USD 10,000 (approximately LKR 30 million) to the Government’s ‘Rebuilding Sri Lanka’ Fund to provide relief to the people affected by Cyclone Ditwah.
This contribution was extended to Sri Lanka in response to an appeal made by the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation to its suppliers around the world to assist in rebuilding the country.
The relevant cheque was recently handed over to the Secretary to the President, Dr Nandika Sanath Kumanayake, by the Chairman of the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation, Janaka Rajakaruna and its Managing Director, Dr Mayura Nettikumara.
