The Sri Lanka Coast Guard, in collaboration with the Crime Division Peliyagoda (Western Province North), conducted a special search operation off the Bentara seas yesterday (18), resulting in the seizure of 43 kilograms and 968 grams of crystal methamphetamine.
Acting on intelligence provided by the Police Department, the operation was carried out using an Inshore Patrol Craft. The confiscated narcotics have been handed over to the Crime Division Peliyagoda for further investigations and legal action.
