The Building Research Organization (BRO) has issued a landslide warning for several areas in the Badulla and Nuwara Eliya districts.
Accordingly, the organization informs people in the Passara, Hali Ela, Badulla, Kandaketiya, Uva Paranagama, Meegahakivula and Soranathota areas of the Badulla district to be alert regarding landslides.
The statement also states that people in the Walapane area of the Nuwara Eliya district should also be alert regarding landslides.
