The 9th Boat & Marine Show was held from 30 January–1 February 2026 at Port City, Colombo, highlighting Sri Lanka’s capabilities in marine tourism, recreational boating, yachting, and boat building.
Fifty local exhibitors and five foreign companies showcased boats, accessories, and services across 90 stalls, including on-water displays. The event also featured an international conference on nautical tourism, attracting global buyers and promoting Sri Lanka as a marine tourism and boat-building hub.
EDB Chairman Mangala Wijesinghe said the sector is a key contributor to exports, foreign exchange, and employment, with shows like this helping connect local manufacturers to international markets.
