The National Water Supply and Drainage Board has announced that the water supply from the Biyagama Water Treatment Plant will be suspended for 12 hours on July 7, from 8.30 a.m. to 8.30 p.m, due to CEB maintenance work at the Sapugaskanda Sub-Station.
The water cut will affect Peliyagoda, Wattala, Ja-Ela, Katunayake, Seeduwa, and several Pradeshiya Sabha areas including Kelaniya, Biyagama, Mahara, Dompe, Katana, Minuwangoda, and parts of Gampaha.
The Water Board has apologized for the inconvenience and urges the public to use water sparingly during this period.
