    PM to participate in 3rd SADC Featured

    Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe will leave for Singapore on 17th July to participate in the third South Asian Diaspora Convention (SADC) in Singapore.

    The 3rd SADC will be held from 18th - 19th July at the Raffles City Convention Centre, Singapore. Prime Minister Wickremesinghe will deliver the Keynote Address at the inaugural session.

    Around 1000 dignitaries inclusive of more than 50 leading policymakers, academics and civil society activists will partake on the occasion to  discuss the challenges in the economic and trade sectors, and the political role of the South Asia in the global political platform in the 21st century.

    Sri Lankan Minister of Foreign Affairs Mangala Samaraweera, Minister Malik Samarawickreme, Deputy Minister Sarathi Mithrapala who accompany the PM in this tour will also participate in this convention.

    During the three-day official visit, the Premier will hold discussions with the Singapore President Tony Tan Keng Yam, and Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong.
