President Appoints New Members to the Anti-Corruption Commission
December 29, 2023In a significant move to strengthen the fight against corruption, President Ranil Wickremesinghe has appointed Hon. Justice W. M. N. P. Iddawala as the Chairman of the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption. Additionally, Mr. Chethiya Goonesekera and Mr. K Bernard Rajapakse have been appointed as other members of the Commission, with the appointments taking effect from January 01, 2024.
