DG ISPR Major General Asim Bajwa told that terrorists were killed in exchange of fire with the security forces and hunting operation. He said all the terrorists present in the camp have been killed.

According to ISPR, the terrorists entered in the camp in the wee hours in two groups from different locations and attacked on a Masjid. They killed sixteen people offering Fajr prayer in the Masjid.

During the operation carried by Quick Response Force Captain Asfandyar alongwith three soldiers of PAF embraced martyredom. Major Haseeb and a solider alongwith twenty-two other persons received injuries.

Corps Commander Peshawar Lt. General Hidayat-ur-Rehman later briefed the Army and Air Chief regarding operation against the terrorists. Later they visite CMH and inquired after the health of injured.
