During the tournament, Army Shooting teams performed exceptionally well and bagged the first three places in the overall Championship in a convincing manner.

The award ceremony was held  at Negombo Rifle Club firing range where Major General Sudantha Ranasinghe, Chairman, National Rifle Association graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
