A special security network was in place in New Delhi in view of the State leaders who were participating in the Indian Prime Minister’s swearing-in ceremony.
As a result, the Indian media reported that a group of tiger loyalists including Vaiko were arrested for staging a protest against the Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa attending the swearing-in ceremony of Narendra Modi as the Indian Prome Minister.
