PM Modi also discussed matters to increase cooperation in civil aviation including investments and technology transfers.

In matters like Space research,energy,economy and defence the bilateral cooperation was also enhanced.. PM Modi was recived at the presidential palace by French President François Hollande.

France would partner India in urban development of infrastructure such as railways and defence providing to India 36 Rafale jets in ready condition and also in matters related to the nuclear sector.

Both Presidents made known a joint declaration after the talks where they consider of strategic value of collaboration between both countries.
