Beijing: China stated yesterday that the evacuation of 629 Chinese people and 279 from other 15 countries settled in Yemen has been completed with four operations that used two boats of the Chinese navy.
According to reports issued by the state news agency Xinhua, the staff of the China embassy to Yemen also left Yemnen due to the worsened conditions of security and temporarily closed the diplomatic mission.
Ambassador Tian Qi told Xinhua news agency that China had successfully carried out the evacuation of hundreds of domestic and foreign individuals since last week, a sign of the Chinese Government's commitment to protect civilians.
