The Embassy of the United States, Sri Lanka and Maldives is transitioning to a new online visa process which is designed to be more convenient and user-friendly. After applicants complete their non-immigrant US visa form applications online, they can now deposit their visa fee payments through any local DVB bank branch.  A majority of DVB branches are open six days a week including Saturdays, providing visa applicants with an accessible and convenient payment point.

Speaking of the facility, Achintha Hewanayake, Chief Technical and Service Officer, DFCC Vardhana Bank stated: “DVB is fully geared to accept non-immigrant US visa payments. Anyone wishing to make such a payment would be able complete the transaction in a matter of minutes by visiting any of our DVB branches.”
