This is the first of the 100 units to be opened at Railway stations around the island.

The units consist of a CDM to deposit money as well as an ATM is open 365 days of the year, 24 hours of the day.  

This program was commenced to provide train passengers with banking services in an easy manner.

In addition, two teller machines were also established at the Veyangoda Railway station on the same day.
