In parallel to the exhibition and trade fair, the International Symposium on Palmyrah - ‘Let’s globalize the glory of Palmyrah’ will be held on 25th August at the Galle Face Hotel.

The symposium will bring together researchers, scientists and multiple stakeholders from India, Thailand, Malaysia, Cambodia and Vietnam. It is a platform of mutual learning and sharing of technological and scientific know-how with other Asian palmyrah growing counterparts.

The Exhibition will be open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and there are over 50 trade stalls. In addition to the traditional items jam, cordial, Palm ice cream, palm yoghurt, palm cake and palm chocolate as well as ornaments and baskets will be on sale.
