Newly appointed Iranian Defence Attaché to Sri Lanka, Senior Colonel Mohommad Reza Shahali called on Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Ravindra Wijegunatatne at the Naval Headquarters on Tuesday (19th April).
This was the first official meeting of the new Iranian Defence Attaché with Commander of the Navy.
Cordial discussions on matters of mutual interests and bilateral importance were held and mementos were also exchanged to mark the occasion.
The outgoing Iranian Defence Attaché Colonel Ebrahim Rohani was also present.
