Asian stocks were down on Monday (21st March) morning with the drop in global crude oil prices.
The Morgan Stanley Capital International (MSCI) Asia Pacific declined 0.4 percent to 412.76 in Hong Kong. The Shanghai Composite Index rose 0.8 percent with Chinese policy makers loosening controls in the stock market. In Hong Kong’s the Hang Seng Index of mainland stocks traded almost flat while Japanese markets are closed for a holiday.
