    Sanga's Final Test Today at 'The Oval'

    Veteran Sri Lankan Cricketer Kumara Sangakkara (Sanga) is ready to say Good Bye to the 15 years career in Cricket and the audience after the 2nd Test Match with India which begins today at the P.Sara Oval in Colombo.

    34 years old Sangakkara has scored 12,350 test runs with 38 centuries with as average of 57.71 while scoring 14,234 runs with 93 half centuries in ODI matches.

     

    skipper Angelo Mathews in the pre -test match press conference at P.Sara Stadium said "It would be an emotional moment for the entire team  the leave of a great player and a top human being Sanga and the best send off we could give is winning the test series".

     

    Sanga, one of the best and cleverest players of the cricket world dedicated for  Sri Lanka for a long time acting different characters even in the victory and in defeat, is proudly respected by all the Sri Lankans forever.
     

    Sangakkara has said he wanted to be remembered most by his contribution to the development of the game in Sri Lanka. "When you play you see yourself in one way, but when you retire you see yourself as slightly better than what you actually were," he has said. "But I want to be remembered as just who I was, how I played and how I interacted with the team in the dressing room."
