The Sri Lankan stall was decorated with traditional handicrafts such as wooden ornaments, silver ware, brass and copper ware, handlooms, rush & reed ware and trading items such as coir and ceramic products, soft & wooden toys, natural cosmetics, spices, tea etc. The visitors did not miss the culinary delights of Sri Lanka, and there was a high demand for Ceylon tea which was served at the stall. In addition, Sri Lankan traditional, folk dancing and singing items were performed at the venue.
This festival created many opportunities for Sri Lanka, as the Sri Lanka Embassy in Sweden used the occasion to promote the country as an attractive tourist destination and was able to show that Sri Lanka is one of the few places in the world that can offer the travelers a combination of landscapes, scenic mountain ranges to pristine beaches, offering wide ranging diversity within one destination.
