A pleasant surprise was that Sri Lanka Tourism Pavillion at the Key Asian travel and tourism event Guangzhou International Travel Fair (GITF) 2015 on Monday (09) won the ' Best country Pavilion' which indicates the focussed strategies that Sri Lanka is adopting on a strong private-public partnership drive voiced Athukorala.
With the increased connectivity of Air China operating the market and the proposed charter that will also come to play in the near future this destination has a lot of potential drive growth but what we are now focussing is to increase the quality of our traveller given the global boom of the new young and affluent Chinese wanting to see the world.
