The former Sri Lankan Fast Bowler Rumesh Ratnayake has been appointed as a Consultant Coach to join the National team currently in New Zealand, Sri Lanka Cricket announced.
Ratnayake will be joining the squad from the 4th of February up to the 20th of February. He will be assisting the National Team's preparation for the upcoming ICC World Cup in New Zealand and Australia.
SLC taking into consideration the views of the Chairman of Selectors and the National team Management has decided to make this inclusion.. All other support staff personnel will remain intact with the squad, SLC added.
