Able Seaman SP Siriwardane of Sri Lanka Navy who is a sportsman and a body builder won the Bronze medal at the International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness (IFBB) contesting in the 65kg weight class at the 68th IFBB Men's World Amateur Body Building Championship 2014 which held in Brazil recently.
This is the highest ever medal won by a member of a Sri Lanka Navy in an international championship. To bring this immense glory to the motherland he contested with reputed international body builders of 81 countries during the session.
The event was organized by the Brazilian Body Building and Fitness Federation.
