The Sinhala and Hindu New Year Festival organized by the Welfare Society of the Department of Government Information was held on Saturday (29th April) at the Department Premises.
The event, which comprised of many traditional new year games was participated by the staff and their family members.
Minister of Parliamentary Reforms and Mass Media Gayantha Karunathilake graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and Presented gifts to the winners.
The Minster is seen presenting gifts to the winners of Singithi Aurudu Kumariya.
