The Western Province women's team  played in an organised manner whereas the Southerns could not manage the Western Province speedy attackers.

The finals was played at the Sports Ministry Grounds and Mrs. Ranjini Jayakody,  the Director General of Department of Sports Development was the Guest of Honour while Ranjith Rodrigo, the President of FFSL was the Chief Guest at the Finals.

Sajith Jayalal, Asst.Director,Sports of Department of Sports Development , Rahula Siriwardena, the Acting General Secretary of FFSL gave away the prizes and medals.  Ranjith Rodrigo the President FFSL gave away the main trophy to the Champions - the Western Province Team..(KH/SI)
