    Pakistan Army Volleyball Team Wins Series against Sri Lankan Army Light

    Pakistan Army Volleyball Team, which was in Sri Lanka to participate in the Inter-Regiment Volleyball Championship 2016, won the championship against Sri Lankan Light Infantry team.

    Pakistan Army Volleyball Team took part as a foreign country for the first time in the history of this championship, on the invitation of Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force.


    Commandant, Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force, Major General Channa Goonetilleke, was the chief guest on the occasion and distributed prizes to winning and runners-up teams.


    The Inter-Regiment Volleyball Championship 2016 was organized by the Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force. The championships serve as the launch pad for national and international recognition of talented sportsmen and women, besides generating healthy sporting competitions.
