President Maithripala Sirisena officially appointed the veteran cricketers Muttiah Muralitharan and Mr. Thilakaratne Dilshan as the brand ambassadors of the National Kidney Fund which was established in line with the sustainable program to control kidney disease, according to the concept of the President.
The appointments were made before starting the Twenty-Twenty Cricket Match at R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium Sunday evening (August 01).
The President also inscribed a message in a souvenir to mark this occasion. Thereafter he joined the audience to watch the match.
Secretary to the President P. B. Abeykoon also was present at this occasion.
