    President Hands Over Motorcycles to Kandy District Field Officers
    Under the programme of handing over 100,000 motorcycles to field officers in the state sector, President Mahinda Rajapaksa
    ​on Thursday (09) ​
    handed over the keys of motorcycles to 7000 field officers in the Kandy District at a ceremony
    ​held ​
    at the Getambe playground
    ​.
     
    The motorcycles are being provided to
    ​State Sector ​
    field officers  with the aim of providing qualitative and efficient service to the public through state service. The funds for the program have been allocated in the 2014 Budget.
