The General Convocation 2017 of the General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University was held at the BMICH under the patronage of President Maithripala Sirisena yesterday (12th Dec.).
One thousand and sixty three (1063) students from nine different faculties were graduated at this year’s convocation. Among them there is one doctorate awardee, 93 masters degree and post graduated diploma holders and 963 bachelors degree holders.
The President symbolically presented awards for few degree holders at this convocation ceremony.
He also presented gifts to those who demonstrated excellence in 2017.
