The first round of debates of the Constitutional Assembly of Sri Lanka is due to commence tomorrow (30th Oct.) at 10.30 a.m. in the chamber of Parliament.
Director General of Government Information, Attorney –at Law Sudaarshana Gunawardana in a statement said, the main focus of the debates will be the Interim Report of the Steering Committee, which was tabled on 21st September 2017 and will take place on three consecutive days.
The Interim Report of the Steering Committee and other information on the constitutional reforms process can be accessed/ downloaded at Constitutional Assembly of Sri Lanka.
The Government official news portal is maintains by the New Media Unit of the Department of Government Information and it was titled "news.lk" and commenced in mid1996 and release to Internet from March 01st, 1997.
