New four Ministry Secretaries were appointed by President Maithripala Sirisena yesterday (2nd Oct.).
Accordingly, H. M. Gamini Senevirathne was appointed as the Secretary to the Ministry of Foreign Employment, Jayantha Wijeyrathne as the Secretary to the Ministry of Sports, Neil Ranjith Ashoka as the Secretary to the Industry and Commerce and M. A. Sisira Kumara as the Secretary to the Ministry of Irrigation and Water Resource Management.
The Government official news portal is maintains by the New Media Unit of the Department of Government Information and it was titled "news.lk" and commenced in mid1996 and release to Internet from March 01st, 1997.
