The Samadhi Buddha statue, donated by Mr. Jayantha Rajakaruna, who lives in Myanmar, will be brought to Sri Sambuddha Jayanthi temple in Anuradhapura.
After the floral tribute, the statue was taken in procession to Anuradhapura.

President Maithripala Sirisena paid the first floral tribute to the marble Samadhi Buddha statue brought from Myanmar today (25th Aug.) at the President’s Official Residence.
