President Maithripala Sirisena joined to celebrate the International Day of Yoga 2017 at Independence Square yesterday (17th June).
The event was organized by the Indian Cultural Centre in collaboration with eminent yoga institutions in Sri Lanka.
Messages from Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi and External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj were telecast on this occasion.
Indian High Commissioner Taranjit Singh Sandhu, Minister Mano Ganeshan, and the Defense Secretary Karunasena Hettiarachchi were also present.
