Committee members held discussions with the ANCL officials, senior management, department heads, and members of the Editorial Board and trade-union office-bearers and sought their opinions and suggestions.

This special committee was appointed by the president on 7th February 2017 to develop and strengthen the Associated Newspapers of Ceylon Ltd. The Committee will study official administration and management weaknesses, financial situation and staff administration and related issues and report its observations.

The employees of ANCL and the public also can give their opinions and suggestions to this special committee. The Committee will sit for public hearings at Room No 4-208, Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH) in Colombo.
