Public servants of the Matara district also join the public servants of the other districts crushing the anti-patriotic elements and the backers of foreign conspiracies.

9,738 postal voters as against 5,863 postal voters in the last PC election have voted for the United People’s Freedom Alliance while the United National Party has got only 2,450 postal votes. The Democratic Party has got 1,719 votes and the Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna has received 1,611 votes.

The ever grateful and progressive public servants of the district have expressed their solidarity with the government and demonstrated that are totally against the foreign conspiracies being launched against the country (niz)
